Q + A

What should I wear?

Our ceremony will be in a Catholic church, and our reception will be at the farm, so make sure your attire is appropriate for both settings. We're going for an elevated western vibe, so if you feel comfortable in blue jeans and a suit jacket, go for it! But if you feel more comfortable wearing your go-to "wedding guest" apparel, that's great as well! Our bridal party will be wearing the wedding colors, so kindly avoid those.

What are the wedding colors?

Our colors are ivory, dark & light green, and dark & light brown.

Parking & Transportation

There is ample lot and street parking at the church. When you get to the farm for the reception, parking will be clearly marked. The reception venue is about 30 minutes away from the church, so you will be required to have transportation planned ahead of time, as we will be unable to provide transportation for guests. There are several car rental facilities in the area, or you can make plans to carpool with other guests. There is not a reliable bus transit system between Durango and Bayfield.

Travel & Accommodations

There are many lovely hotels, AirBNB's, and VRBO's in the area. You will likely find more availability in Durango, but there are some beautiful spots in Bayfield as well as Pagosa Springs, which is about an hour and ten minutes from the church and about fifty minutes from the farm.

How can I find the church?

The address for the church is here on our website, but you can also locate it on your GPS by searching for St. Columba Catholic Church in Durango Colorado.

How can I find the farm?

The address for the farm is here on our website, and you can search it on GPS to find directions. Once you get to the driveway entrance, follow it all the way back past the oil site (this will be marked). Then proceed to the left-hand entrance when the driveway forks. This is a shared driveway, so please be respectful when driving and parking.

Will there be food?

The reception will be catered! Dietary restrictions and allergies will be accounted for, just make sure you note any requirements on the RSVP or let us know ahead of time.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes, we will have an open bar serving a variety of beers, wines, and seltzers. We will not be serving any hard liquors. We will also have other beverages, including water, sparkling cider, and sodas. We would like this event to remain family-friendly, so please be respectful with any alcohol consumption.

Who should I contact with any other questions?

We understand questions may arise! Please reach out to any of the lovely bridesmaids for help. Contact information will be available soon.
